Animal-Assisted Interventions
Whether this is a visit to a school, hospital, or an office space to promote wellness, or a structured therapeutic intervention assisted by a certified therapy dog, or a reading program to help struggling children in school, Communitails offers customized AAI to our clients based on their needs and session objectives. This comes with extensive preparation, training, and coordination between the company and receiving institution to ensure both success and safety during sessions.
Training Course
Our Animal-Assisted Interventions training course provides the foundational principles and competencies for one to effectively and safely research and deliver AAI to clients, including evidence-based knowledge, and skills training. Certificates are issued upon completion.
Human-Animal Team (HAT) Screening
Upon completion of training, aspiring Human-Animal Teams (HATs) are evaluated based on Skills and Aptitude as they respond to different scenarios simulated by our screening team, assessing their readiness and appropriateness to be HATs of Communitails. HATs undergo re-screening every two years to maintain international standards of practice.
Educational Talks & Lectures
Communitails conducts a variety of workshops, lectures, and customized programs related to AAI, mental health, the human-animal bond, responsible pet ownership, animal welfare, and many more related to our advocacy of mutual healing.
